When Mr Bateman and Mr Ogden joined forces in 1881, they would create one of the longest-standing textile merchants in the UK, one which played an important part in supplying fabric for our soldiers in World War 1. The firm has continued to serve the couture industry and now exports British fabrics worldwide.

Reaching out to new markets

Having developed the most advanced cloth merchanting system in the industry, Etharius was expertly placed to turn the company's existing brochure website into a fully-functional e-commerce platform, utilising the distinctive "instant basket" system that allows tailors to simply type in and add customer references to their orders. 

The ease of use extends both ways, with new features added to this build specifically to aid Bateman Ogden & Co. with order tracking, CRM functions and invoice management. The flexibility of the core system has allowed us to create a site that's perfectly tuned to the client's requirements.
